A Brief Resume of Singnificant Activities, January 2012- North West Regional Center

Head of Office, NWRC and Head of Office, Camp Office attended the Seminar on ‘Rural Reconstruction’ in commemoration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore scheduled on 17th & 18th January, 2012 in Kolkata.

Republic Day celebrations were organized on the campus of this regional centre and all the staff members attended the function. On this occasion a cultural programme was also organized.

Retro work of library books continuing alongwith checking of data.

The PDF proceeded for her PDF project field work on 18th January, 2012.

Field work is continued under the National Project entitled “Social Impact Assessment” from 21st December, 2011.

Contractual staff and fellows attached to the DNA laboratory visited the Pathology department of Doon Hospital, Dehradun from 9th to 25th January, 2012 for general training in medical laboratory functioning, particularly intravenous blood sample collection.
