A Brief Resume of Singnificant Activities, January 2012 - Eastern Regional Center

The field work on the project “Anthropological Study of Rajarhat” is being continued

Most of the researchers have been doing their field work in Rajarhat-Gopalpur area for collection of relevant information and data. (photo attached)

The documentation work on Weaving at Shantipur has been undertaken.

One researcher has presented a research paper entitled ‘Anthropological Fieldwork for Anthropological Research: Some issues” in the National Seminar on “Ethical Issues in Anthropological Research” organized by WBSU.
All the Researchers have attended the National Seminar on “Rural Reconstruction: Retrospect on Tagore’s Vision” in the ERC, Kolkata.
